I love Arizona, and i’m not shy about it. Whether it’s starting up the #movetotempe hashtag, writing the definitive guide on the AZ startup scene, or any of the other various ways I serve this community, I have a lot of Arizona pride. But I do have a bone to pick with the people here when it comes to the summers. People talk like summers are the worst thing but I personally love them
What’s NOT to love. Amazing pools in fancy backyards. Fast boats on vast lakes. Day trips to lava tubes up north. Hiking in natural creeks down south. There is actually A LOT to do in Arizona in the Summer. And as someone sick of people leaving AZ for the summer, I am going to attempt to influence the opposite with something I call Seedscout Summer.
What is Seedscout Summer?
Seedscout Summer is an offering for Seedscout Pro members in our ecosystem. Every month or so, we’ll rent out an Airbnb in the valley. Then for a whole week, we’ll throw events at the Airbnb that are specific for startup founders. If you’re the valley and are a Seedscout Pro member, you are welcome. Are you a Seedscout Pro member wanting to travel in to spend a a Seedscout Summer with us? We’ll fly you out and put you up in our Airbnb.
We rent a new house for every Seedscout Summer. If you fly in from out of state, you’ll be able to stay in one of these houses for no extra cost. As long as you’re a Seedscout Pro member, you’re invited to stay the whole week for no extra cost. The house will be full of founders to meet and collaborate with as well that whole week.
During Seedscout Summer, we offer open coworking during every day where pro members can work anywhere in and around the house. Then every evening, we host an event for the members to cover a topic relevant to early stage founders.
We only give the address for the Seedscout Summer Houses to Pro members. Due to that, you know everyone is of a certain ethos that you meet in the house. We all have two things in common and that is that we are all founders and we are all in the Seedscout ecosystem. A lot of magic can come from those two similarities. On top of that, this is the best way to get a lot of facetime with the Seedscout core team.

Work With Me On Your Pitch
I don’t take pitch meetings because I think it’s hard to get much done in 30 minutes. But if you’re a Seedscout Pro founder, i’ll gladly meet with you for hours over frisbee, a nice swim, or just hanging out on the couch inside Seedscout House. Again, this is only available for Seedscout Pro founders.
