I’ve been rejected from nearly every network I’ve ever applied to that I consider tier one. Y Combinator (11 times), On Deck, Pioneer, various different accelerators, and invite only events/retreats. This has impacted my worldview, and I vowed that I would build that tier one network for founders to join, that no one let me into. I think I’ve successfully done that. But damn, it still would be nice to join a network of peers (who I respect) to learn from and vibe with. I’ve done that for others, but no one did it for me. It can be rough.
